Responsibilities
- Publish 4–5 blog posts per week to specification, including structure, images, alt text, internal links, FAQ blocks, tables, metadata, and URL slugs.
- Build and update collection and landing pages using existing Shopify sections and templates, including replication across regional storefronts.
- Resolve recurring technical SEO issues involving broken links, redirect chains, canonical tags, structured data, indexation controls, sitemaps, hreflang, and Core Web Vitals.
- Modify Liquid, JSON templates, and metafields within the existing Shopify theme and build or modify custom Shopify apps or scripts when needed.
- Perform self-QA before launch and provide daily written updates on progress and blockers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build or modify Shopify apps and scripts, not only edit themes.
- Specialist-level Shopify experience rather than generalist experience across platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow.
- Strong written and spoken English for daily communication.
- Availability for a short daily check-in and same-day replies during working hours.
- Strong organization and ability to maintain a fixed weekly publishing cadence without reminders.
- Technical SEO development experience, including understanding redirects, canonical tags, and schema, is preferred.
- Experience working with an agency or in-house SEO/marketing team is preferred.
- Experience with multi-region or multi-storefront Shopify setups is preferred.
- Comfort with bulk operations such as CSV imports, Shopify Admin API, and Matrixify or similar tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with GSC, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or Semrush outputs is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale Shopify stores containing thousands of pages and hundreds of SKUs is preferred.
