Base Salary

$190k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with military end users and stakeholders to understand challenges and deliver software solutions.
  • Own features from prototyping through deployment, including systems integration and performance validation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and operations teams to deliver scalable systems and complex projects.
  • Monitor and improve system reliability and performance through instrumentation, metrics analysis, troubleshooting, and iteration.
  • Deploy, field-test, and support software systems, traveling approximately 25% to operational environments.

Requirements

  • Strong coding skills in Go, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Ability to take ownership of development and deployment for a specific military customer with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams in rapidly changing environments.
  • Strong communication skills and interest in leading customer-facing engineering interactions.
  • Active U.S. secret security clearance required; top secret preferred.
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or other complex operational domains is desired.
  • Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or sustainment challenges is desired.
  • Experience deploying production software and managing cloud or edge infrastructure is desired.
  • Exposure to data engineering, analytics, or machine learning in operational contexts is desired.
