Base Salary
$130k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship end-to-end full-stack AI projects on a Ruby on Rails backend and React frontend
- Design and run experiments, including A/B tests and AI evaluations, to validate features and guide iteration
- Build and optimize AI infrastructure for production-level LLM inference performance and reliability
- Improve processes, tools, and systems for scaling AI features into production
- Stay current with AI research, techniques, and tools
- Collaborate with company leaders and designers throughout feature design
Requirements
- At least 6 years of full-stack engineering experience on high-traffic production applications
- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, MySQL or PostgreSQL, and ReactJS, with experience across both frontend and backend development
- Hands-on experience building and shipping production AI features such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems, AI agents, or LLM-powered tools
- Experience designing and running A/B tests, AI evaluations, and other experiments
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Proficiency in English at CEFR Level C2 or ILR Level 5
