Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate end-to-end SAP and non-SAP integration scenarios across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid landscapes.
- Build modular, reusable, and maintainable integration flows using routing, splitting, gathering, message mapping, and transformation patterns.
- Implement JSON, XML, CSV, and other enterprise data transformations using Groovy for enrichment, validation, and conditional execution.
- Design secure APIs with authentication, authorization, throttling, versioning, observability, and lifecycle management capabilities.
- Integrate third-party applications through connectors and enable event-driven messaging for near-real-time, decoupled architectures.
- Build AI-native integration agents, retrieval-grounded assistance, mapping recommendations, anomaly detection, predictive operations, and conversational troubleshooting with appropriate safeguards.
- Develop automated integration testing, payload regression, replay testing, API verification, and AI evaluation harnesses with release gates.
- Establish monitoring dashboards, alerts, traceability, correlation IDs, structured logging, and operational remediation workflows.
- Apply integration advisory, governance, standardization, and maturity-enablement practices across teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite, cloud integration, iFlows, transformation patterns, and monitoring.
- Proven ability to implement message mappings, routing patterns, and transformation logic across enterprise data formats.
- Practical Groovy scripting skills for integration-flow customization and performance tuning.
- Solid API design and management fundamentals, including security, throttling, lifecycle/versioning, and observability.
- Experience with tool-augmented workflows, retrieval-grounded outputs, measurable evaluation loops, and safe AI action boundaries.
- Event-driven integration, enterprise messaging, connector-based SaaS integration, legacy-platform migration, modernization, and integration governance experience are beneficial.
