Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and evolve scalable distributed systems, APIs, services, and platform capabilities while balancing security, reliability, performance, maintainability, and cost.
- Develop software features, automated tests, monitoring, telemetry, and operational tooling for specialized cloud environments.
- Apply security, privacy, and compliance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using data and telemetry to improve service performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Participate in monitoring, incident response, readiness reviews, code reviews, design reviews, and cross-functional delivery with product, design, security, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance and pass required customer, government, and Microsoft Cloud background checks.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to applicable citizenship-based legal restrictions and must be verified.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
- Preferred experience includes Azure or another major cloud platform, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, large-scale backend services, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, telemetry, monitoring, logging, observability, regulated or highly available environments, and AI-assisted development tools or AI-enabled applications.
