Responsibilities
- Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies
- Translate customer requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable Dash0 implementations
- Develop and execute proofs of concept
- Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations for engineering and executive audiences
- Collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle
- Provide guidance on observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry collector design
- Maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and proof-of-concept templates
- Provide technical insights to Product Management to influence roadmap and feature priorities
Requirements
- Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices
- Ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and proofs of concept that demonstrate business value
- Excellent communication skills for explaining observability concepts to engineers and decision-makers
- Ability to collaborate across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
- Experience with HubSpot is a nice-to-have
- Technical content contributions such as blog posts, conference talks, or open-source documentation are a nice-to-have
- Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem and experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup are nice-to-haves
