Responsibilities
- Act as the R&D domain expert and solution architect for Aily App modules.
- Translate research, portfolio governance, and clinical development routines into product requirements and AI decision logic.
- Define AI outcomes, R&D decision-quality standards, data requirements, data collection, and AI fine-tuning needs.
- Partner with Product, ML, and Engineering teams on feasibility, operational readiness, and scalable product capabilities.
- Influence the product roadmap through client impact and adoption insights.
- Advise senior R&D and executive stakeholders at enterprise clients.
- Lead deployments, data-readiness activities, AI validation, workshops, executive sessions, and user enablement.
- Drive rollouts from initial use cases to enterprise-wide adoption and embed AI into daily R&D decision-making.
- Own time to first active user, time to routine, adoption, and measurable client outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, or MBA degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+/7+ years of experience in R&D strategy, pharmaceutical consulting, clinical operations, portfolio management, or innovation leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of R&D decision-making in large enterprises, including portfolio governance and clinical development.
- Exposure to R&D analytics, performance management, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Fluency in data and AI concepts, including data requirements and model behavior, through collaboration with product and data science teams.
- Proven experience working with Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients.
- Strong communication skills with senior R&D and executive stakeholders and the ability to work autonomously in complex environments.
- Preferred background in tech consulting, solution architecture, or product-facing roles.
- Preferred experience with AI-powered, analytics, or data-intensive R&D products and enterprise SaaS environments.
- Preferred experience mentoring, leading, or scaling small teams or domain practices and working across global R&D organizations or multi-therapeutic portfolios.
