Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Workday Financials solution architecture across large-scale, multi-country engagements.
- Set programme design standards and act as the primary escalation and design-authority point for consultants and clients.
- Define and govern solutions across Workday Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
- Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable Workday Financials solutions.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls and identify opportunities for system optimization.
- Direct implementation and enhancement work for end clients.
- Manage and guide multidisciplinary Workday Financials, Integration, and Data consultants.
- Participate in pre-sales activities and help shape client offerings.
- Help apply Workday AI and Accenture GenAI-enabled assets across design, testing, documentation, and finance transformation.
Requirements
- Several full-cycle Workday Financials implementations with end-to-end solution-design ownership.
- Strong finance transformation track record and deep expertise in Workday Financials, including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Contracts-to-Cash, solution design, and reporting.
- Architecture or design-authority experience defining and governing design standards across large programmes.
- Familiarity with accounting principles, financial processes, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Fluency in English and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet client travel requirements and manage virtual teams and client interactions effectively.
- Workday Finance certification, Workday Adaptive Planning experience, and experience leading onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams are preferred.
- Fluency in another European language is an additional advantage.
