Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of machine learning and Generative AI solutions.
- Review and validate internal and external models for quality, performance, and risk compliance.
- Establish evaluation frameworks for predictive models, LLMs, and Generative AI applications.
- Conduct fairness, bias, disparate impact, explainability, and interpretability assessments.
- Lead AI safety and Generative AI evaluations, including red teaming, hallucination testing, toxicity assessment, and guardrail validation.
- Implement production model monitoring, drift detection, observability, and AI risk controls.
- Partner with engineering, product, security, and governance teams and help define enterprise AI engineering standards.
- Mentor engineers, establish technical standards, and influence enterprise AI strategy.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting production machine learning solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Python, CI/CD, and CLI or scripting tools.
- Experience deploying classification, regression, and time series forecasting models.
- Experience managing large-scale ML infrastructure in Azure or AWS programmatically with infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch and scikit-learn and with deploying ML models and data pipelines in production.
- Knowledge of model evaluation, validation, and performance measurement techniques.
- Preferred experience with LLM and Generative AI evaluation and governance, Fairlearn, AIF360, SHAP, LIME, AI safety testing, model observability, drift detection, AI monitoring platforms, and MLOps tooling.
- Preferred familiarity with Responsible AI frameworks such as NIST AI RMF and ISO 42001 and with AI risk controls and audit-ready governance processes.
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, technical leadership, and enterprise AI strategy influence.
