Base Salary
$146k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure automated CI/CD pipelines for software delivery and deployment.
- Integrate static and dynamic analysis, vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and other security controls into the development lifecycle.
- Automate patch management, configuration, compliance, monitoring, and logging to improve application and infrastructure security.
- Configure and upgrade DevOps environments and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible.
- Implement container security practices and manage container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and ContainerD.
- Respond to security incidents involving deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure, including root cause analysis and remediation.
- Document DevSecOps processes, procedures, and best practices and collaborate with software engineering, security, and IT operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud DevSecOps.
- 5+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- 3+ years of experience integrating SAST, DAST, and vulnerability scanners into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance after starting; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government.
- Preferred qualifications include 9+ years of related experience with a qualifying P4 bachelor’s degree, 13+ years with a bachelor’s degree, or 17+ years of related relevant experience.
- Preferred experience includes 10+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, Jenkins or Bamboo, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist, or CISSP are preferred.
- Candidates must satisfy Boeing’s Conflict of Interest assessment process and complete the required CodeVue technical assessment.
