Base Salary

$108k - $186k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Support ecosystem partners, including enterprise solution providers, XR technology partners, and device OEMs, in creating XR solutions.
  • Design and support partner demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and pilot deployments.
  • Architect solutions that meet project requirements in collaboration with technical and product teams.
  • Act as a liaison and escalation point between Qualcomm's XR engineering team and partner teams.
  • Design, build, test, debug, and support XR solutions end to end.
  • Manage assigned work to completion and collaborate with geographically distributed cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience; or a master's degree plus 1+ year; or a PhD in a related field.
  • At least 1 year of academic and/or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • At least 1 year of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
  • Preferred experience with XR SDKs and platforms including Unity, Unreal, Oculus, Vive, Magic Leap, Nreal, and Qualcomm.
  • Preferred Android OS development or framework experience and Unity 3D experience, including shaders and rendering pipelines.
  • Preferred camera, display, video, graphics, C/C++, C#, software design, systems architecture, debugging, and troubleshooting experience.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in embedded software systems is preferred.
  • Strong customer and solutions focus, analytical and problem-solving ability, ownership, independence, collaboration, curiosity, and motivation.
