Base Salary
$125k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support ecosystem partners, including enterprise solution providers, XR technology partners, and device OEMs, in creating AR and VR solutions.
- Design and support partner demonstrations, proofs of concept, and pilot deployments.
- Architect solutions that meet project requirements while coordinating with multiple Qualcomm technical and product teams.
- Act as a liaison and point of escalation between Qualcomm’s XR engineering team and partner teams.
- Design, build, test, and support XR solutions end to end.
- Manage work assignments to completion and collaborate effectively with distributed cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, software development, or related experience; alternatively, a relevant master’s degree plus 1+ year of experience or a relevant PhD.
- At least 1 year of combined academic and/or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- At least 1 year of combined academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
- Preferred experience includes XR SDKs, Unity, Unreal, Oculus, Vive, Magic Leap, Nreal, Qualcomm technologies, Android development, Unity 3D, shaders, rendering pipelines, camera, display, video, graphics, and XR or mobile systems architecture.
- Preferred development experience includes C, C++, and C#; up to 3 years of embedded software systems experience is also preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, ownership, communication, independent-working, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a customer- and solutions-centric focus.
