Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Own Kubernetes clusters, including Helm charts, networking, RBAC, ingress, security, upgrades, reliability, and scalability.
  • Establish observability, secrets management, high availability, and reliability practices across environments.
  • Mentor DevOps and software engineers, contribute to solution design and requirements analysis, and set technical direction.
  • Drive adoption of AI-based tooling across products, services, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support team delivery through Agile process roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Several years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related discipline, including production-level ownership on AWS or a comparable cloud platform.
  • Deep hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or OpenTofu.
  • Proven Kubernetes ownership involving Helm charts, networking, ingress, RBAC, upgrades, and security hardening.
  • Strong experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab, and using Git as the team's single source of truth.
  • Experience setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and introducing AI-assisted workflows into software development.
  • Preferred experience with FluxCD or Argo CD, multi-cloud environments including Azure or GCP, Ansible or comparable configuration management tools, SQL/database troubleshooting, and fintech, capital markets, or regulated industries.
