Responsibilities
- Implement automated testing workflows within the embedded software test framework.
- Integrate internal tools from other teams into the test framework.
- Develop familiarity with firmware behavior, requirements, test cases, and manual testing methods.
- Participate in code reviews and test development to improve software automation.
- Collaborate with engineers to understand expected behavior, investigate failure modes, and correct bugs.
- Learn medical device software development lifecycles and system-level testing.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with PEP 8 coding standards.
- Understanding of object-oriented analysis, design, programming, and testing.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with software debugging, Git, and release methodologies is beneficial.
- Passion for software automation and requirements-based testing.
