Responsibilities
- Conduct workshops with engineering and business stakeholders to elicit data-structure, engineering-change, and variant-management requirements.
- Design solutions for multi-level Product BOMs, variant configurations, effectivity controls, and alignment between eBOMs and dBOMs.
- Define Teamcenter out-of-the-box configuration versus customization and map business objects, attributes, relationships, and BMIDE requirements.
- Provide functional requirements, structural wireframes, and business logic to PLM architects, developers, data migration teams, and technical delivery partners.
- Architect engineering change-management workflows, templates, signoffs, task handlers, and access-manager behavior.
- Oversee UAT, validate deployments against business intent, and lead functional troubleshooting.
- Own business process models, functional and non-functional user stories, and product backlogs through production transition.
- Develop and execute UAT and training plans and facilitate end-user workshops and process-flow mapping.
Requirements
- Requires 5-7 years of experience focused on Siemens Teamcenter PLM solution architecture, deployment, and hands-on environment configuration.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Requires technical literacy in installing, patching, tuning, and configuring multi-tier Teamcenter Web, Enterprise, and FMS/FSC environments.
- Requires knowledge of vehicle and automotive product lifecycles, component tracking, configuration management, variant-rich options and features, and large-scale Teamcenter transformations.
- Requires BMIDE configuration, data modeling, business objects, properties, LOVs, relationships, revision rules, and Teamcenter out-of-the-box configuration and customization.
- Requires ITK and SOA development knowledge, workflow and change-management expertise, and experience with workflow templates, signoffs, task handlers, and access managers.
- Requires experience with Active Workspace, RAC, Teamcenter Services, TcSS, FMS, microservices, deployment environments, Dispatcher, indexing, search, cacheless architecture, performance, scalability, and troubleshooting.
- Preferred qualifications include coaching team members, PLM migration and legacy-data strategy experience, global rollout leadership, high-visibility meeting facilitation, sprint-velocity management, functional blueprinting, debugging, risk management, and executive communication.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid arrangement and report to a specified location at least three times per week or as directed by the manager.
