Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support secure and scalable software applications and features.
- Design and deploy container-based solutions using Kubernetes on Amazon EKS or Azure AKS.
- Develop Java applications and microservices using Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Apache Camel.
- Translate business and user requirements into technical specifications and application designs.
- Implement authorization and access-control logic across applications.
- Support legacy system modernization through structured refactoring and dependency remediation.
- Develop and migrate CI/CD automation pipelines using Groovy and Git.
- Coordinate software deployments, monitor post-release performance, and conduct post-installation testing.
- Perform unit, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive design, system, and application documentation.
- Establish project plans for moderate-scope projects and perform complex technical and functional analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and three years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields and one year of relevant experience.
- Experience applying SDLC and Agile principles to design, develop, implement, and support secure, scalable software in cloud-enabled environments.
- Demonstrated expertise with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs in a microservices-based environment.
- Demonstrated expertise with legacy modernization, structured refactoring, Git, and Groovy.
- Experience with CI/CD automation, pipeline migration, and build, test, and deployment tooling in cloud-based container environments.
- Experience with multithreading, distributed caching, key-value data stores, JUnit, and code-quality testing.
