Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications and reusable UI components using Angular.
- Own features through implementation, automated testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Integrate UI applications with REST APIs and services across the Genesys Cloud platform.
- Consider performance, accessibility, security, and usability in everyday development.
- Use telemetry and operational data to diagnose and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to develop effective customer solutions.
- Contribute to improvements in engineering practices, development processes, and user experience.
Requirements
- Approximately two or more years of professional software development experience, with significant web or UI development experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with Angular or a comparable component-based framework such as React or Vue.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience writing unit and automated tests.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with source control and modern CI/CD development practices.
- Ability to investigate problems, identify solutions, and work independently on well-defined product areas.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Experience with larger-scale SaaS or enterprise web applications is preferred.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is preferred.
- Experience with frontend state management, asynchronous application patterns, accessibility standards, observability, telemetry, performance monitoring, design systems, or reusable component libraries is preferred.
- Understanding of microservices and distributed cloud architectures is preferred.
