Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute reusable automated test scripts and frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and object-oriented programming.
- Create and execute manual test plans and cases covering functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
- Conduct API testing with Postman or Swagger and validate databases using SQL queries.
- Analyze automated test results, identify and track defects, and work with development teams on resolution.
- Participate in code reviews, report test progress and product quality, and improve QA processes and practices.
- Research and implement new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8–12 years of Quality Assurance experience with a strong focus on test automation.
- Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and automated test script development.
- Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language, such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, or NUnit and the Page Object Model.
- Experience with manual functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Familiarity with Git and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred experience includes Cucumber or other BDD frameworks, JMeter or LoadRunner, security testing, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, mobile application automation, and QA or test automation certifications.
- ISTQB or similar industry certification is a plus.
