Base Salary
$146k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to solution architecture development for Defense pursuits and programs across varying sizes.
- Develop architecture components across software engineering, application modernization, systems integration, IT operations, DevSecOps, and platform engineering domains.
- Support technical solutioning sessions with capture teams, partners, and subject matter experts.
- Author technical proposal sections, diagrams, and tables under review of senior solution leads.
- Create system diagrams, data flows, integration approaches, transition plans, and other architecture artifacts.
- Research emerging technologies, vendor capabilities, and competitive positioning to support solution decisions.
- Participate in customer engagements to understand mission requirements and technology environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in enterprise IT solution architecture, DevSecOps, application modernization, or a similar area.
- At least two years contributing to solution design on enterprise IT pursuits or programs and solutions.
- Hands-on experience in at least two architecture domains, such as cloud, application modernization, cybersecurity, data/AI-ML, IT operations, DevSecOps, or enterprise platforms.
- Experience translating customer requirements into technical solution components and complex mission or business objectives into practical technical solutions.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills for articulating architecture decisions to mixed audiences.
- Experience with Java, C#, SQL, React, and Angular.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Active Secret clearance or higher, or the ability to obtain one.
- Preferred qualifications include CompTIA Security+ and knowledge of multiple security tools such as Fortify, Burp, Duck, Grype, and Nessus.
