Base Salary
$98k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build core data management and access frameworks supporting ArcGIS relational and graph information models
- Research and extend ArcGIS support for relational and NoSQL DBMS technology
- Build full-stack software components using modern design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
- Collaborate with developers and product engineers throughout the development process
- Work effectively in an Agile Scrum team environment
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building commercial enterprise software with C/C++ and Java
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging software
- Understanding of RDBMS system concepts and transactional models
- Ability to analyze software and algorithms and identify improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM-related field
- Database programming familiarity with ODBC, JDBC, and Visual Studio is recommended
- Experience with AWS RDS, Aurora, or Azure SQL databases is recommended
- Previous involvement in a large software development project is recommended
- Academic GIS training or knowledge of GIS/Esri software is recommended
- Familiarity with Esri products such as ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro is recommended
- A master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM-related field is recommended
