Base Salary

$144k - $237k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and delivery of partner onboarding systems, integration platforms, and APIs connecting external partners to Fanatics ONE.
  • Architect and build the Account Linking Platform for connecting external partner accounts with Fanatics ONE identities.
  • Drive reliable, secure identity provider integrations at scale.
  • Build reusable loyalty program integration systems for FanCash, Tier Point, and One Credit earning and redemption.
  • Establish engineering patterns and standards while ensuring systems are observable, testable, and maintainable.
  • Align architecture, APIs, contracts, and integration patterns across Identity, Loyalty, and SDK engineering teams.
  • Work directly with external partners and their technical teams to translate integration needs into scalable platform solutions.
  • Improve developer experience through tooling, documentation, and self-service capabilities.
  • Mentor engineers through pairing, design reviews, and engineering culture initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a staff-level or equivalent technical leadership role.
  • Strong full-stack engineering background across backend services, APIs, and frontend tooling.
  • Deep experience designing integration platforms, partner APIs, or developer-facing systems.
  • Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and identity provider integrations.
  • Proven ability to architect distributed systems that operate reliably at scale.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for aligning engineering, product, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a multi-tenant or multi-operating-company environment.
  • Preferred experience with Go and TypeScript/React.
  • Preferred experience with loyalty, rewards, or payments platforms.
  • Preferred familiarity with event-driven architectures such as Kafka.
  • Preferred experience building account linking or federation systems.
  • Prior experience in sportsbook, fintech, or another regulated industry is preferred.
