Senior Staff Fullstack Engineer (Python, React/TS) - AI Apps
SentinelOneResponsibilities
- Embed with functional departments to discover workflows, identify pain points, and define solutions.
- Design and build custom full-stack applications from prototype through production using modern frameworks and AI-assisted development tools.
- Own technical architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, training, and handoff for each engagement.
- Partner with IT, Security, and Data teams to ensure applications meet data security, compliance, and supportability standards.
- Create reusable components, patterns, and playbooks and share field learnings with platform, product, and data teams.
- Manage scope, speed, and quality trade-offs and communicate technical decisions to stakeholders and executives.
- Measure success through production adoption and measurable business impact.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Ability to independently architect, design, build, and ship full-stack applications across frontend and backend systems.
- Deep proficiency in a modern backend language such as Python or Node.js/JavaScript and strong React/TypeScript frontend capability.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
- Expert understanding of APIs, webhooks, data structures, and integration patterns.
- Experience working directly with senior non-technical stakeholders to scope ambiguous requests, manage expectations, and deliver production software.
- Strong autonomy, adaptability, communication, and ability to explain technical trade-offs to executives and engineers.
- Preferred experience in forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, professional services, or startup generalist roles.
- Preferred exposure to enterprise security, compliance, or data governance requirements.
