Responsibilities
- Develop software features and enhancements across front-end, backend, integration, and data layers under senior engineer guidance.
- Build and maintain APIs, services, and user-facing applications supporting credit investment workflows.
- Write clean, maintainable code; participate in code reviews; and incorporate technical feedback.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, release validation, deployment support, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
- Document application functionality, technical changes, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
- Assist with cloud-native, containerized, database, integration, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, business analysts, investment technology stakeholders, and business partners.
Requirements
- Required BS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Required 1–2 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing software applications through academic, internship, co-op, or early professional work.
- Knowledge of Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Preferred knowledge of React, TypeScript, or modern front-end development frameworks.
- Basic understanding of relational and non-relational databases, APIs, web services, and application integration.
- Familiarity with Git, source control, automated testing, and CI/CD concepts.
- Preferred familiarity with cloud computing, Kubernetes, containers, or DevOps tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, curiosity, ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Interest in financial services, investment management, credit, lending, or alternative asset management technology is preferred but not required.
