Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, maintain, and enhance Appian applications, including interfaces, process models, records, and integrations.
- Translate business requirements into technical Appian solutions and collaborate with business stakeholders on design approval and governance.
- Participate in backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, stand-ups, and other development activities.
- Perform unit testing, support user acceptance testing, and follow appropriate development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, triage, and resolve defects, production issues, and change requests through closure.
- Support audit activities, compliance processes, documentation, governance, and adherence to development standards.
- Collaborate with team members, promote knowledge sharing, and contribute to continuous improvement of the Appian development practice.
- Escalate platform-related environment, performance, and access issues to Appian administrators or senior developers.
- Ensure solutions are secure, performant, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with architectural principles.
Requirements
- Experience developing applications on the Appian platform, ideally 1–3 years or equivalent exposure.
- Familiarity with Appian components and experience undertaking development and configuration work within the Appian platform.
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience integrating systems and supporting production systems and defects.
- Appian Associate Developer qualification.
- Ability to collaborate with business and functional teams and follow governance, standards, and architectural principles.
