Responsibilities
- Plan and manage testing resources for customer-facing information systems.
- Create test plans, test scripts, and test conditions from business requirements and functional specifications.
- Execute test plans and scripts and ensure products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements.
- Automate manual test scripts using VB scripting and conduct large data load and volume testing.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other IT resources to address problems and issues.
Requirements
- Experience testing web applications and working as an experienced automation tester.
- Thorough understanding of QTP and UFT.
- Experience with VB scripting for test automation and volume testing.
- Ability to read and understand requirements and translate them into test plans and scripts.
- Mercury Test Director, Mercury Quality Center, or related experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of business process analysis, testing methodologies, tools, best practices, and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
