Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight, architectural guidance, design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship across multiple engineering teams.
- Define technical standards, best practices, architectural patterns, and approaches for mitigating technical risks.
- Partner with the CTO to develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, lead proof-of-concept initiatives, and drive scalable, reliable, and maintainable architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with product teams to assess technical feasibility and balance technical debt with feature development.
- Architect healthcare data infrastructure, scalable data pipelines, and ETL processes for analytics and reporting.
- Guide analytics tools and dashboard implementation and collaborate with data science teams on machine learning initiatives.
- Support data security, healthcare regulatory compliance, documentation, knowledge sharing, and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in senior technical leadership roles.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale, complex healthcare systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring engineering teams and delivering technical projects in regulated environments.
- Experience with healthcare data systems and EMR integrations.
- Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Strong experience with Azure and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with HL7, FHIR, database design and optimization, API design, security architecture, compliance implementations, and HIPAA compliance.
- Proficiency in CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies.
