Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deliver reliable software solutions across services and domains.
- Own technical execution for complex components and services and translate business and product needs into scalable engineering outcomes.
- Contribute to system design and architecture decisions covering performance, availability, security, and operational excellence.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve service health through monitoring, automation, and continuous quality and resilience improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners on end-to-end solutions and share technical knowledge.
- Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions and apply AI/ML concepts to real-world products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent related professional experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience building and supporting production systems.
- Demonstrated ownership of design, development, and operation of services or multiple components, including code quality, testing, and operational reliability.
- Strong software engineering foundation in object-oriented or modern programming languages, low-level system design, API design, data modeling, and distributed-systems debugging.
- Experience with cloud-based and service-oriented environments, version control, CI/CD practices, monitoring, and secure engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with JVM technologies, specifically Kotlin and functional programming.
- Experience with SQL using Aurora and NoSQL databases including DynamoDB, MongoDB, and DocumentDB.
- Preferred: experience leading complex technical delivery, influencing design decisions, improving engineering practices, and building scalable, high-availability systems.
- Preferred: experience with observability, automation, performance optimization, data-driven technical decisions, full-stack or multi-domain work, AI/ML-enabled product capabilities, AI-driven development tools, and distributed teams.
