Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain foundational infrastructure for Topsort products.
- Define and enforce service level objectives (SLOs) and build alerting systems.
- Create reliable CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform or similar tools.
- Build internal tooling to enhance developer efficiency.
- Implement security best practices at the infrastructure level.
- Proactively plan capacity and tune systems for demand.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of software engineering experience focused on infrastructure or SRE work.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and their failure modes.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with observability tooling for proactive system monitoring.
- A security-conscious mindset regarding infrastructure.
