Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize backend systems for architecture, fault tolerance, scalability, and AI-enabled payment applications.
- Build high-availability services, distributed scheduling, data processing, platform automation, monitoring, observability, alerting, incident response, and root-cause-analysis capabilities.
- Analyze production incidents and new business features to plan long-term architectural improvements.
- Participate in shifts to handle critical technical faults affecting payment-system services.
- Mentor interns on related subjects when applicable.
- Partner with payment product, risk, compliance, finance, SRE, and global engineering teams across markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of Go, Java, C++, or Python.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and databases.
- Strong problem-solving ability, ownership mindset, and clear writing and presentation skills.
- Good cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes AI infrastructure, machine learning platforms, intelligent systems engineering, payments, fintech, transaction platforms, banking integrations, financial infrastructure, distributed systems, backend architecture, service reliability, performance optimization, observability, SRE practices, incident management, and disaster recovery design.
