Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and platform APIs.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs that balance usability, maintainability, and Salesforce platform limits.
  • Apply Salesforce security best practices, including sharing, permissions, and Lightning Web Security.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify root causes.
  • Improve deployment pipelines, release practices, and monitoring.
  • Mentor engineers and collaborate with architects, administrators, product owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Follow Information Security Policies and complete other duties as directed.
  • Work outside normal business hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays, when required.

Requirements

  • Hold relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
  • Have familiarity with Salesforce declarative development tools, including Validation Rules, Process Builders, and Flows.
  • Have familiarity with Salesforce coding tools, including Apex, Aura, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Have experience with Salesforce integrations, including Salesforce tools and integrations with other platforms.
  • Have financial services experience, ideally involving Salesforce integrations.
  • Have 5+ years of Salesforce experience.
  • Have experience using JIRA.
  • Have strong organizational, written, verbal communication, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Have experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and test automation.
