Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and support low-latency exchange connectivity and DMA platforms.
- Collaborate with development, product development, production support, quality assurance, and global teams to achieve delivery goals.
- Improve application resiliency, latency, and throughput for automated trading platforms.
- Maintain and improve testing frameworks, development tools, and platform environments.
- Design and implement test cases for trading functions.
- Contribute to Agile, continuous integration, AI tooling, procedures, best practices, and technical standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience, including a minimum of 8 years of relevant financial services experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of core Java, preferably JDK 17.
- Experience with FIX protocol or binary protocols for market access is desired.
- Experience with low-latency software design and mechanical sympathy techniques for high-throughput trading platforms.
- Experience with microservices-based architecture and automated trading platform development.
- Strong understanding of automated testing techniques, Agile methodologies, continuous integration processes, and AI tooling such as GitHub Copilot.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set goals, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and present and understand complex concepts in a multicultural environment.
