Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and build enterprise AI/LLM platforms with model access, orchestration, prompt management, and evaluation capabilities.
- Develop and deploy AI agents, orchestration frameworks, RAG pipelines, secure data integrations, and production AI applications.
- Build and operate MLOps pipelines for model deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and lifecycle management.
- Define practical AI strategy, governance, model assurance, risk management, guardrails, and observability standards.
- Build operational data pipelines and integrate AI capabilities with enterprise platforms, APIs, workflows, and business systems.
- Lead rapid AI prototyping and establish reusable platform services, templates, playbooks, development patterns, and knowledge resources.
- Enable internal teams to adopt AI consistently and contribute to enterprise BI and analytics capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong experience building and operating platforms or infrastructure systems, with a transition into AI/ML or data platforms.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying production AI/LLM systems, including LLMs, RAG architectures, embeddings, and agent-based systems.
- Experience building or operating AI/LLM platforms, internal developer platforms, shared services, data pipelines, and MLOps processes.
- Proficiency in backend development using Python, Node.js, or similar technologies, along with API design.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and operational reliability.
- Familiarity with secure or regulated environments and data protection requirements.
- Preferred experience includes platform engineering, DevSecOps, infrastructure engineering, multi-tenant AI platforms, agent orchestration frameworks, vector databases, semantic search, AI governance, enterprise applications, analytics platforms, data warehouses, or enterprise BI systems.
- Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, and LMI will consider applicants with a clearance or eligibility for one.
