Base Salary

$140k - $170k/yr

Responsibilities

Manage GIS data models, ETL pipelines, and geospatial integrations between systems.
Ensure authoritative GIS data accuracy and performance across VA systems.
Document GIS interfaces and maintain API configurations, mapping endpoints, and service dependencies.
Integrate GIS APIs and components with VA-EISS components, business logic, APIs, databases, and microservices.
Collaborate with integration developers, DBAs, architecture teams, and system teams to align mapping solutions with enterprise standards.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT-related field.
7–10 years of experience supporting GIS data accuracy, spatial ETL pipelines, authoritative datasets, and enterprise integration.
Experience documenting interfaces and maintaining GIS API configuration details.
Experience with spatial databases, geospatial standards, and enterprise GIS tools.
Proficiency in ESRI technologies, including ArcGIS, REST services, spatial data formats, and ETL tools.
Preferred experience with NCA memorials, including eligibility, burial scheduling, interment, and monuments, as well as VA product-owner support.
Public Trust eligibility is preferred.

Salary range is $140,000–$170,000 base, with potential overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses depending on the position.
