Base Salary
$140k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end generative AI applications using Python, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Google Cloud
- Develop advanced retrieval-augmented generation pipelines and semantic search systems using GCP Vector Search or Pinecone
- Lead LLM and embedding fine-tuning efforts for domain-specific performance
- Build and manage agentic workflows for complex multi-step reasoning tasks
- Work directly with customers to understand requirements, propose features, and implement advanced AI techniques
- Productionize and operate AI services with efficient serving, monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Address latency, error handling, cost optimization, scalability, responsible AI, and data privacy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
- At least five years of AI/ML experience
- Proven experience deploying generative AI products to production
- Mastery of Python and shell scripting
- Extensive experience with Google Gemini, GPT-4, or LLaMA and strong knowledge of prompt engineering and fine-tuning
- Expertise with vector databases and semantic search
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud, Vertex AI, and scalable software architectures
- Proficiency with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration layers
- Strong software engineering foundation and understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Classic machine learning experience, including neural network training and tuning, is a strong plus
- Knowledge of data engineering and SQL
- Ability to collaborate with clients and translate technical complexity into business value
