Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable applications using the OutSystems platform.
- Use .NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive design techniques to build web solutions.
- Develop integrations with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, and middleware.
- Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical support.
- Own technical issues through resolution, including SLA adherence, root cause analysis, and remediation.
- Apply OutSystems best practices and client policies for application performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Prepare statistical reports and present progress during weekly and monthly client meetings.
- Stay current with OutSystems features, low-code trends, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- At least 3 years of software development experience with OutSystems, including OutSystems 11 and ODC.
- Proficiency with OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, Lifetime, ODC Studio, and ODC Portal.
- Required certification as an OutSystems Associate Developer or Associate Traditional Web Developer.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and practices.
- Knowledge of web technologies, relational databases, SQL, database design, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder engagement, and customer-facing skills.
- Experience supporting end-user training, adoption, and platform governance.
- Understanding of OutSystems application security, user roles, and permission models.
- Preferred experience in public-sector or compliance-driven environments.
- Preferred experience with database management systems such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Preferred experience in leadership or senior developer roles, complex software projects, system integration, and migration.
- Preferred knowledge of workflow automation, integration hubs, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere.
- Preferred specialist certifications include Tech Lead and Architecture Specialist.
