Base Salary
$150k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug software tools, flows, and methodologies for hardware design, process design, and manufacturing.
- Capture user stories and requirements and write functional and test code.
- Automate software builds and deployments.
- Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of software tools.
- Develop EDA-related scripts, distributed job management tools, workflows, templates, and CAD software deployment processes.
Requirements
- Master's degree with 2+ years of experience or a PhD with experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or another technical engineering discipline.
- Required degree must be held or expected by September 2026.
- At least 6 months of experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or C++.
- At least 6 months of experience working in Linux environments and with version management systems.
- Preferred: 12+ months of experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys ICV, or Siemens Calibre for physical design, place-and-route scripting, and DRC verification.
- Preferred: experience developing job management tools on distributed systems, automating processes through workflows or templates, and administering or deploying CAD software.
