Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, install, patch, upgrade, configure, secure, monitor, tune, and support enterprise RabbitMQ and Kafka messaging platforms.
- Plan and implement disaster recovery, backup and recovery, automation, and highly available platform practices.
- Monitor and operate cloud and legacy applications while troubleshooting platform issues and supporting application development teams.
- Address Kafka producer and consumer performance and scalability challenges.
- Use AI-powered development and operational tools to improve troubleshooting, documentation, automation, and incident resolution.
- Work in a global agile team and identify opportunities to reduce manual operational effort through intelligent automation.
Requirements
- Requires 6–12 years of experience in middleware Kafka messaging, application platform management, and distributed architecture or solutions.
- Requires strong experience managing RabbitMQ and Kafka in large-scale enterprise distributed systems.
- Requires deep knowledge of Kafka and RabbitMQ configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Requires experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
- Requires proficiency with Python, shell scripts, and configuration management tools, preferably Ansible.
- Requires practical experience using AI-powered development and engineering tools to improve development and operational productivity.
- Desirable experience includes applying Generative AI or Agentic AI to infrastructure operations, platform engineering, or software development workflows.
- Desirable familiarity includes AI-assisted observability, incident management, operational analytics, intelligent automation, Kubernetes, Docker, IBM MQ, Active MQ, and Apache Flink.
