Responsibilities
- Build successful relationships with clients in the assigned territory in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Act as a trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation to support adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Create reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications.
- Lead customer and community workshops, seminars, and meetups.
- Develop technical and/or industry specialization in big data analytics.
Requirements
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Willingness to learn a foundational level of Spark.
- Proficiency with big data analytics technologies and hands-on experience delivering complex proofs of concept.
- Experience with one or more public cloud platforms.
- Experience in use-case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to audiences with varying technical depth.
- Ability to engage customers in technical sales, communicate technical and value propositions, and build relationships with customers and internal Account Executive teams.
