Responsibilities
- Develop software components and infrastructure supporting thousands of websites and more than 1.4 billion users.
- Build and maintain high-scale, real-time systems handling more than 500,000 requests per second and generating 100TB of new data daily.
- Collaborate with experienced software engineers and product managers to design and deliver new features.
- Use CI/CD, A/B testing, and large-scale data to develop, test, and improve production systems.
- Analyze system performance and use data to improve solution reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, systems, and multithreading.
- Programming experience in Java or another object-oriented programming language.
- Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and Big Data concepts.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems through work, academic experience, or projects.
- Experience with Generative AI coding tools.
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark or Kafka is a bonus.
- Experience with cloud, containerization, or distributed systems technologies is a bonus.
