Responsibilities
- Define, lead, and execute improvements to database infrastructure for growth, technology evolution, and scaling.
- Help shape the long-term database infrastructure roadmap and participate in team decision-making.
- Build and improve database infrastructure tooling and automate operations with Temporal workflows.
- Lead database initiatives spanning multiple company domains.
- Identify infrastructure improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation approximately every ninth week.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of programming experience, preferably in Go.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with Kubernetes and deep knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Strong advocacy for automation.
- Effective written and spoken English communication.
- Curiosity, responsibility, and willingness to learn the team’s concepts and technologies.
