Responsibilities
- Architect, design, secure, implement, monitor, and operate cloud services across AWS and Azure.
- Define cloud standards and communicate best practices to DevOps teams and customers.
- Automate AWS infrastructure and manual processes using Python and boto3.
- Design and implement CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, containerized services, serverless applications, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery technologies, procedures, runbooks, onboarding documentation, and cloud account inventories.
- Install and configure monitoring and security software and address AWS GuardDuty and Security Hub findings.
- Troubleshoot AWS and Azure platform incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
- Partner with solution architects and data engineers to prototype and implement newly launched AWS services.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or seven years of experience in the position offered or as a Cloud Engineer, Software Developer, or closely related occupation.
- Seven years of relevant professional experience, including five years in network and computing-environment administration, troubleshooting, secure software development, DevOps automation, CI/CD, high availability, performance tuning, backups, and disaster recovery.
- At least two years of experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Python, AWS cloud-native services, infrastructure-as-code, AWS and Azure, containers, Kubernetes, and source-control or code-management platforms.
- At least one year of experience integrating SaaS platforms with Snowflake and administering Dataiku and Snowflake.
- Experience with Java, Java EE, Spring, JavaScript, SQL, Docker, Linux, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, Ansible, Sonar, AppDynamics, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification is required.
- Must pass a background check and drug test before beginning employment.
