Base Salary
$300k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and delivery of a governed data platform.
- Design and scale the semantic and operational layers on top of the Data Lakehouse.
- Enforce strong governance and lineage for data quality and compliance.
- Productize capabilities for human analysts and AI agents.
- Develop a regional and global data localization strategy.
- Collaborate with Data Science, AI engineering, Product, and Risk teams.
Requirements
- 15+ years in data or platform engineering.
- 5+ years leading engineering teams in complex, multi-region environments.
- Proven experience architecting and scaling modern data platforms.
- Strong hands-on expertise in data modeling and data quality practices.
- Experience designing a governed semantic layer with standardized metrics.
- Familiarity with modern lakehouse architectures, particularly Databricks.
- Experience implementing regional data localization strategies.
- Strong understanding of data governance and regulatory controls.
- Platform-as-product mindset with a focus on adoption and measurable impact.
