Base Salary
$105k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed security requirements into new feature design in partnership with Product, Engineering, and the DPO team when privacy considerations arise.
- Advise senior stakeholders and represent Information Security in product and technology decisions.
- Coordinate with Information Security teams to involve the appropriate security specialists in feature design.
- Create and refresh customer trust materials, including brochures, whitepapers, and questionnaire knowledge-base articles, and transition them to Customer Engagement.
- Mentor junior Business Engagement engineers and help shape the evolving function.
- Stay current on AI-related product capabilities, security risks, and expectations.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in a SaaS or cloud-based product environment with an understanding of security’s relationship to product design and go-to-market.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams and influencing outcomes with senior stakeholders.
- Strong working knowledge of security domains relevant to SaaS platforms, including data protection, identity, and application security.
- Ability to operate autonomously across a global team.
- Specialist security certification is valuable but not required.
- Curiosity about and fluency with AI tools and their impact on product development and security practice.
- Preferred: experience translating policy into technical or computational requirements, familiarity with legal, compliance, or regulated industries, exposure to AI-assisted development workflows, and experience with customer security questionnaires or trust knowledge bases.
Benefits
- U.S. national base pay range of $104,900-$174,700, with geographic differentials potentially applying; the role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
