Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and improve secure, reliable, reusable AWS cloud platforms.
- Deliver Infrastructure as Code with an emphasis on automation, standardization, reuse, and blueprints.
- Contribute to sprint-based agile delivery, CI/CD, observability, security, and operational resilience.
- Develop Capgemini cloud platform patterns, reusable assets, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, platform specialists, delivery teams, customers, and other pods.
- Continue professional development through hands-on experience, training, certifications, and knowledge-sharing.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining AWS cloud platforms and services.
- Practical knowledge of AWS compute, storage, networking, identity, and monitoring services.
- Experience delivering Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform.
- Good understanding of cloud networking, security principles, and operational resilience in AWS environments.
- Experience with version control and collaborative engineering practices, ideally using GitHub.
- Exposure to Kubernetes, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in agile delivery environments with platform, DevOps, and customer teams.
- Must obtain Security Check (SC) clearance and satisfy the stated UK residency and other eligibility requirements.
