Base Salary

$168k - $275k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build software that helps Ramp reach its next millions of users.
  • Build and scale internal platforms and applications such as workflow orchestration, incentives, and sales and marketing applications.
  • Design and maintain data ingestion and activation pipelines across Ramp products, internal business systems, external systems, and third-party data.
  • Apply AI and LLMs to unstructured data processing, automation, personalization, and growth signal derivation.
  • Drive business outcomes through experiments and metric-driven software development.
  • Prioritize and scope custom solutions versus third-party tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, data, and design partners and stakeholders across growth, sales, and finance.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in a software development role.
  • Experience shipping fast, reliable applications using modern development tools and infrastructure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, constantly evolving startup environment.
  • Pragmatic and creative approach to solving problems when standard approaches are insufficient.
  • Curiosity and commitment to continuously improving engineering skills.
  • Preferred experience includes startup work as a technical co-founder or early engineer, modern data stack experience, production AI/LLM applications, strong engineering lifecycle practices, user-facing data or internal business applications, and marketing or sales automation, personalization, and analytics tools.
