Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of multi-component software systems from technical strategy through deployment and operational excellence.
- Own the team's architectural direction and make trade-offs involving scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and extensibility.
- Collaborate with engineers across related teams to align system interfaces, resolve dependencies, and deliver integrated solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and hands-on technical guidance.
- Evaluate and integrate generative artificial intelligence tools and emerging technologies using responsible practices.
- Write and review code, participate in architecture discussions, and support junior engineers with difficult technical problems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
