Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines across multi-tier environments.
- Automate build, testing, artifact packaging, deployment, rollback, and zero-downtime release workflows.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize Java and Spring Boot application builds, packaging, runtime configuration, and deployments.
- Troubleshoot Maven and Gradle builds, dependency conflicts, JVM configurations, and microservice container deployment issues.
- Provision and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes and OpenShift and maintain Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and container configurations.
- Embed vulnerability and code scanning, security controls, change management, release governance, audit compliance, and access management into delivery pipelines.
- Implement monitoring, centralized logging, and alerting and participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
Requirements
- 9-12 years of relevant technology experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or build and release automation.
- Demonstrated experience building and operating enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Practical understanding of Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Gradle, multi-module builds, dependency management, and JVM performance basics.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker or Podman and Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
- Proficiency with Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Proven experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Strong scripting proficiency with Bash/Shell, Python, or Groovy.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, or ELK for monitoring and logging.
- Familiarity with SAST/DAST, Artifactory or Nexus, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, ownership, and independent initiative skills.
