Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Develop responsive, mobile-first front-end applications using JAMstack practices.
- Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
- Support intuitive CMS content authoring experiences and appropriate content structures.
- Implement accessible web experiences aligned with WCAG guidelines.
- Use APIs, front-end build pipelines, and version-control tools in development work.
- Benchmark and optimize web performance using Core Web Vitals and browser developer tools.
Requirements
- Expertise in responsive design, mobile-first application design, front-end development, design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
- Familiarity with CMS template editors, content-author roles, and content authoring usability.
- Experience with Adobe XD or comparable design tools such as Sketch or Figma.
- In-depth knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3; BEM methodology is preferred.
- Strong JavaScript proficiency, including DOM manipulation, the JavaScript object model, and ES6.
- Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, WCAG guidelines, information architecture, and content structuring.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools, Git, Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals, web performance optimization, and browser developer tools.
- Familiarity with micro-frontend concepts and headless implementations is a plus.
- Atomic design experience is a plus.
