Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product code using C#, .NET Core, Angular, and established engineering best practices.
- Design, develop, and deploy applications to Azure using Azure DevOps and Azure PaaS.
- Collaborate with architects on high-level architecture, low-level design, technical documentation, and gate reviews.
- Design APIs and evaluate how API structure affects usability and user experience.
- Design and develop database solutions while addressing scalability, performance, security, integration, and application optimization.
- Manage product environments, repositories, versioning, build management, deployments, releases, code reviews, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, DevOps, program management, and product management teams.
- Ensure deliverables are self-certified before transition to QA and customers and support continuous improvement of product processes.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- 5–10 years of software development experience is required.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, Azure, REST services, WebAPI, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, JSON, JavaScript libraries, SQL, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with reporting technologies such as SSRS, Power BI, or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with Agile SDLC practices, Scrum, Test Driven Development, unit testing, Spec Driven Development, code reviews, and product release cycles.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar generative AI tools to improve developer productivity.
- Strong knowledge of multithreading, application clustering, scalability, performance, application security, code analysis, optimization, and database design.
- Preferred qualifications include customer-facing AI feature development, microservice-based architecture, Dapper, AG Grid, SSO with SAML or Ping Federate, and Azure or Microsoft certifications.
- Advanced technical education and related training or certifications are a plus.
