Responsibilities
- Design and develop efficient, testable software in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
- Perform hands-on frontend and backend development using JavaScript, React, Ember, Python, and Django.
- Lead technical design initiatives and efforts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, including production issues using logs and stack traces.
- Use pull requests to support code delivery, teaching, and learning.
- Share ownership of team dynamics, development processes, and team growth.
- Collaborate with teammates and other functions in a geographically distributed remote environment.
- Use AI in day-to-day software development work.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with JavaScript, React, Ember, Python, and Django.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS, including tenant isolation and shared versus tenant data.
- Experience with a JavaScript framework and frontend SPA concepts such as routing, data layers, forms, and components.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and pull-request-based delivery.
- Experience using Docker for local development.
- Ability to write and maintain robust tests.
- Willingness to use AI in day-to-day work.
- Strongly preferred experience with Django REST Framework or an equivalent API framework, Redis, background jobs, payments or billing, AWS basics, authentication, and feature flags.
- Preferred experience with Stripe or similar payment platforms, Sentry or other observability tools, Playwright or similar end-to-end testing tools, GitHub Actions, and business integrations.
- Nice-to-have experience with AI in software delivery, e-commerce, point-of-sale systems, and cart flows.
- Must be legally authorized to work in India and reside in India.
