Responsibilities
- Build and extend an automated testing framework for cash equities trading platforms.
- Implement automation for system, regression, regulatory, and volume testing requirements.
- Integrate the framework with individual trading platforms and develop new business-requested features.
- Coordinate priorities with platform development leads and overseas colleagues.
- Support global QA teams in using the testing framework and document its usage.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience implementing automated testing frameworks in a front-office environment.
- Extensive Python 3.x experience, including multithreading and performance tuning.
- Knowledge or experience implementing software with the FIX protocol and Java Spring.
- Knowledge of cash equities trading and European market structure.
- Experience with Unix or Linux scripting, testing frameworks, unit/system testing, performance testing, and basic SQL queries.
- Experience with Cucumber, JIRA, Bamboo, Jenkins, and C++ templates and generics is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, collaborate across concurrent development streams, communicate effectively, and solve problems.
